Who We Serve

Horizons at Saint David’s serves elementary school aged boys from partner schools in East Harlem. Principals from these schools recommend kindergarten-aged boys who have demonstrated good attendance and whose families are likely to commit to Horizons each summer through 8th grade. All Horizons students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and two-thirds are performing below grade level when they first arrive at the program.
